Go Rhoda! I enjoy BHG quilting magazine too. I always find something in it to inspire me. After many years I let QNM go and actually was surprised to find I don't miss it. I always enjoyed Helen Kelley's column and when she was gone I quit the magazine. It had just gone south anyway. I still get Fons and Porter and they have really gotten a lot better than they used to be. Looking forward to seeing Big Red done. BTW, at dad's

85th birthday he said being 85 isn't anything anymore. So many are getting to 100! 88 is pretty cool in my book though. Taria

I agree, Taria and Rhoda. I do like BHG very much. Right now I have NO subscriptions, but sometimes buy BHG or QM.

On Thursday I received a phone call 'thanking' me for being a 'subscriber to QNM' and asking me to renew. I stated that I am NOT a subscriber, as I had let my subscription lapse a few months ago, and that I would not be renewing. The caller politely asked me why. I told her "It's just not as good as it used to be." She thanked me and we released the call. PAT

Guess I have a bit of catching up to do seeing as I just hit the 58 mark.

Taria, when my dad turned 85, he took the candles and swapped them around, making it 58. Then he put on a silly party hat and said he didn't feel 85. He is 93 now.
