Metallic Threads

Does anyone have any experience with the Superior Glitter Thread? My local store is closing it out and has it marked down 40% (from 9.50) & I thought I'd pick up a few spools, but don't want to end up with something that will make me tear my hear out:) I know the metallics are more difficult to work with, but I guess my question is - is the Superior Glitter Thread more difficult than most?

Thanks!

Pauline

I've also heard that many of these threads give lovely results when used in the bobbin only and quilted from behind. I use Superior's Bottom Line and am very satisfied with that particular product. Good Luck!

That's the best metallic. I use a lot of it and just love it Why are they closing it out. When the company was in Columbus for the NQA show, they had a bunch of it at 50% off. When I questioned why, they showed me the new colors coming out--drool, drool!) Beautiful. I know what booth I'll hit first at the Novi, MI show. Gen

The store has a new manager & she's changing the mix a little. I got YLI silk thread for $3 a spool too. Thanks for the good word on the thread. Don't have anything particular in mind, but can't hurt to have more thread, can it? (Big grin!)
