So that dog is _supposed_ to look like that?

He looks like he was made-up for a day of the dead movie.

Were they used for frightening off demons or something in China?

Grrrrr!!! Sorry- I think it's awful that she let the dog grow such terrible nails just to win the ugly dog contest- it damages their feet/legs and causes them pain. And I object to her allowing people to gawk at the photos of this pathetic, sick, old dog just to get herself 15 min. of fame each year and make money from his "products for sale"- right along with discussing his blackheads and skin deformities as tho they are amusing little details. The poor, old dog deserves better than her story of how yucky looking he is, with the dog appearing so sickly and pathetic, while she pats herself on the back and tries to tell us what a marvelous and loving owner she is.

Ahhhh...I see.

The dogs on this page look young and healthy.

Poor old Sam, even his crest looks raggedy by comparison.

Couldn't his vet cut his nails, give him some lotion for his skin, and smack his mom on the nose with a rolled up newspaper? I'm sure she loves him and all, but some of his 'cosmetic defects' really look uncomfortable. At least his teeth look well maintained, though they are obviously old dog teeth.

I've seen pics of this little dog before -- he truly is so ugly that he's sort of cute.
