After reading about it here, I tried the pressnseal thing to do my machine quilting. It was a mixed success. I marked my design on the pressnseal, then quilted using my Bernina stitch regulator foot.
I had a couple problems (1) I had trouble ripping it out where lines were close, like 1/8 to
3/16 parallel lines. I ended doing 1 line, ripping it off, then doing the 2nd line using the first line as my guide. It was just loosy goosy anyway. They were holly leaves; I still had trouble getting the pressnseal out at the points with a single line.
(2) it gummed up my quilting foot -- most importantly -- it gummed up the laser window so the stitch regulator was blind and it wouldn't GO. I thought my brand new toy had already failed! My dealer found all that stuff on there and didn't know what it was; I felt pretty sheepish.
So it was easy to get started but not so easy to clean up. I think I'd be better off marking on the quilt the old way.
