Press n seal

This is dircted at UK I suppose. I am using Glad P S and I am showing my club tonight how it works. I think some of them will want to know where to get it and was wondering if you know of anywhere in Europe to purchase it. I got mine from US when I was there. It is a really good product for quilting purposes. ( imo). Maybe I will have to get it sent over, but the price will be high I should think.! TIa

Sorry, Estelle, I got mine when I was in the US. It goes a long way! It is also very light, so that if you did have someone send it over, it shouldn't cost too much in postage. . In message , Estelle Gallagher writes

I've never seen anything made by Glad in the UK, but then it's 18 mths since I was there, so that could have changed.

You 're right Anne, They have never heard of Glad stuff over here.I did see the heavier stuff on a site whilst searching and wondered if it was better, but that was to buy 12 rolls and the tax would be high Oh well I will share what I have!

I took some to my 2 LQSs to show them what it was. They looked in their 'book' but it wasn't there, tho freezer paper was.

I haven't noticed anything made by Glad here, though visits to the largest Supermarkets are few and far between - 25 miles+ so I shop locally.

I got mine when I was over in the US. I did buy some of the Aldi stuff when it was on offer, but it doesn't stick to fabric :(

I just booked a flight to the UK in 4 weeks time, I'm not sure I'd find it particularly easy to get to a post office, as I won't have my own transport and I'm only their 3 days. I'll be at a wedding in Cambridge, I don't know if any of the UK RCTQers are in that part of the country or not, but maybe we can figure something out.

Cheers Anne

I'm staying with friends! I could buy stamps no problem, but I don't think a parcel of press n seal could be squeezed into a regular post box!

I know the area I'm going and even when all the small post offices were still open I'd still be a distance from one, though thinking again, the church the wedding is at isn't that far from the main post office, I'd forgotten about that. I'll repost in a new thread when I get a moment.
