metre rule from LIDL

Some time ago I mentioned that LIDL (a budget German supermarket chain operating in the UK and some other European countries) had a 70cm aluminium ruler as one of their temporary offers which was useful for quilting.

Well, now they've got an improved model, a metre long (marked

50cm each way from the centre), with the same sliding markers as the smaller one and now with four spirit levels (okay, finding a quilty use for those might be a challenge). Their offers only last a week, so (in Scotland anyway) you've only got a couple of days to get down there and buy one. 3 pounds 99.

I use the older one a lot, and the extra 30cm should be useful.
