My best quilting buddy and her husband spent the weekend with us and the guys played golf both days, so we had to amuse ourselves. We went to the LQS and Hobby Lobby on Saturday (and I ended up with about 22 yards of new fabric....I don't get to either store more than twice a year...) and so Sunday decided to see what we could get done in one day.
I had a bunch of leftover fabric from baby quilts, so we decided to make two baby quilts, one for Tiny Stitches in Atlanta and one for Project Linus.

Now that I have two machines, we traded back and forth all day, so we both ended up doing some piecing, some quilting, some binding, some ironing.It was great fun, and we finished in time for the guys to take us out for some fantastic Italian food!
I had never done anything like that before, and I loved it.
