newbie from Swizterland

I just have started my first project :-), a kettle-holder. I just wonder what would be a good way to archive my projects. Do you have sort of a quilt-diary with all your pieces? Mariette

Hi there, Where in Die Schwitz are you? My Aunt and Uncle lived in Walsenhauzen near Rheineck by Bodensee. Welcome to the group!

Mmmm...I can see we'll get along just fine, Marietta! I love milk chocolate (with or without hazelnuts), M&Ms and especially Toblerone! :D

Hi Linda I live in Basel, right on the boarders to Germany and France, so far away from your Aunt and Uncle (at least for Swiss people)

Mariette, many years ago (over 20!) I spent half a day in Basel! It's a lovely town. :) DH and I took the two (then-young) DDs to the zoo there.

Hi Mariette, a welcome from Germany for you. We're not so far apart, I live a little bit southeast of Karlsruhe in Germany. I started quilting in 1998 and maybe after 2 or 3 years I began with a sort of quilting diary. Just bought a 'Kladde' a plain book in DIN A4 and now I just write down when I start a quilt, I glue patches of the fabric in it, of course I write down the finishing date, for whom it was and photos. Classes are great, besides learning to quilt, you get to know other quilters and their advices ( Tips and tricks :-)) ) Heidi from Germany

Oh, and I forgot to say, be careful about these people here, don't show your fabric or chocolate stash to them ( swiss chocolate is the best ) or they come and raid it. Of course you can trust me, just email me details off list Heidi "Mariette Küng" schrieb:
