I worked for a custom home builder who gave me some excellent advice- if yo= u can't match it exactly then contrast it. Of course he was referring to = a red brick house and building an addition. If I couldn't find an exact ma= tch for the red brick then he would use a wood siding painted white. I ha= ve kept that advice close for many years..... it works! Better to contras= t than an 'almost made it' match that sticks out like a sore thumb.
And, no, I do not do computers to the extent I would use it to match thread= . Life is too short to stress over thread.... and I like being a cavewoma= n! LOL
