story quilts for library

Mar 09, 2008 4 Replies

Long time ago on one of the quilt shows, there was a woman who made story quilts for her library. I think she had a developmentally disabled child who enjoyed her quilts and she decided to share the teaching tool with her library. She may have used colored pencils or paints to do the faces. What I'm looking for is her technique for drawing the faces. I can't recall her name though ... thought I'd made notes or printed something off from HGTV, but can't find it. Can anyone help? Her first name might have been Esther, but I wouldn't swear to that.

TIA ... Lobo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Delete the obvious to reply to me personally. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
