(((((((((Alice)))))))) Everyone else has said it all much better than I can. My thoughts are with you. It's hard. KJ

(((((((((Alice))))))))) They give us unconditional love and they trust us to keep them safe from harm and pain. It's one of the most joyful relationships on earth. And when it's time, it's the hardest choice we have to make. Search your heart. The bond you share will become your strength.

Oh, Alice! I am painfully aware of what you are going through. You will find strength in knowing that whatever you choose to do is being done FOR Miss Paisley and not TO her. She will understand.

Hugs to both of you.

I'll second that motion! Tuppence "leaked" because of the seizure meds she was taking, so we added the "don't leak" meds to that, and it saved us all much embarrassment.

((((HUGS))))

it's the hardest decision to make but Paisley is blessed you care enough to do this.

Alice,

When the time comes you will know that it is the last, but best, gift you can give your dear friend.

Anne > Well, many of you know about my sweet Miss Paisley. For those who have not

((((((((( Alice))))))))) I understand. My Angus, a 14-year-old Rat Terrier, is nearing the same time in his life. It is sad, so sad, that our beloved pets live such short lives compared to ours. But I truly believe that they are blessed with a sweetness of life that we do not share. They don't dread or fear the future. Our pets live for the moment, happy and content if they have our presence and a full belly. The grief is all on our side. And the responsibility is all on our side, to ensure that after a lifetime of love and devotion our little companions don't suffer needlessly. Alice, you have my support and my sympathy. Wish I could be with you to hold your hand and hug you afterward and assure you that you have done the best for Miss Paisley. Sunny

Hold on tight. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Decisions about our beloved pets are never easy. julia

{{{{{Alice}}}}} Prayers for strength and peace, on the way.

those have been in her system for a few years now.... and aren't doing the job anymore :(

tis almost time. I just can't bring myself to take her in and put her down. Keep hoping she will pass quietly on her own.

Kellie

Paisley is so lucky to have a dogmom like you. I know what a hard decision it is to make. Paisley will love you always, no matter what and she'll be in good company while she waits for you. Hugs, Debi (and Sophie, Grizz, Pluto, Fatso, George and the rest of the Rainbow Bridge Gang)
