On the road again - Sioux City, Iowa

Ok, I know it's not a good time to travel to Sioux City since it's gonna be

8 below zero on Tuesday, but I don't have a choice since it's for my job.

I did line up two quilt shops to visit - My Quilt Shop in Sergeant Bluff and Heart and Hand Dry Goods in Sioux City. I will have a car, but if the roads are bad, I won't venture further than the hot tub, but if there are any other shops worth the trip that are close to Sioux City, let me know.

This is my last long trip for this year, but I did manage to get 4 trips to California for next year!!!

I am a regulatory auditor for a tissue bank. We need to audit every vendor that provides products or services that we use.

Body tissue. When folks are gracious enough to be organ donors, we accept their gift and find a doctor that can use it in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, bone replacement surgery for folks with bone cancer, knee and elbow replacements, etc. Our tissue bank is for bones mostly rather than the organs you may think of with typical banks. We don't deal with hearts, lungs, liver, kidneys and such.
