Organising books

*snort* The shoemaker's children go barefoot!

In my studio I have two floor-to-ceiling Ikea bookcases (the "Leksvik" model). The lower shelves contain the needlepoint and stitchery books I've had for nearly 30 yrs old (I can't part with them!). The upper shelves are for quilt books and magazines, which I keep in Princeton files (=file boxes that libraries use--from various library garage sales)--I have a near-complete set of QNM and a complete set of AP&Q, plus others.

The books are in random order. As Sandy/Ragmop would say, "I know what I own."

In the lumber room (that's an old New England term for store room) I keep quilt/needlework books and magazines that I have for sale. (I have finally gotten into a weekly schedule of listings on Quilters Flea Market, a Yahoo group.)
