OT Dutch speaker needed

I am looking for someone who can translate a word for me. I've tried looking on the "net" and I'm not getting anywhere.

I don't want to put it on here just in case it might be offensive which I don't think it is, but I ain't about to find out.

If you don't get an answer from anyone here (but you most likely will) post your request over at RCTN. Even if they do tend to be a lot meaner and nastier then quilters, they DO have a bunch of people who speak more than one language. Actually, IIRC one of the non-USA members (Mirjam, who lives in Israel) is Dutch by birth and that is her native language! CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Just be warned , there are some words in the Dutch language that just dont translate at all into english. Thats prob. way you werent getting any result on the 'translators' on the internet.

yep - some Dutch words are a phrase in English LOL just be grateful nobody expects you to be able to pronounce them properly ;-)

I'm lucky I learnt Dutch early enough to have managed to get a nice Dutch accent, loose the east Sussex accent and gain a **posh** BBC accent and in my precious life was known as "the Queen" when I phoned a company in Lancashire UK (as in... Susan!!!! the queen is on the phone for you!!!! yelled loud enough for my boss to not quite hear LOL)
