OK, thanks for all your support.
Well, the children were little angels today, even those that sometimes play up, were well behaved! There was one inspector and the head of languages - both really friendly and nice. The lesson went well and in the debrief, they were both really pleased with me and said that they couldn't fault what I had done! Wow!! Also, had I worked as a teacher in the UK, which I haven't.
They are also going to forward a certificate to me, which means that I am able to assist/teach English in any primary school in France. I hadn't been told that part of this inspection was an official assessment otherwise I might have really panicked - I normally hate exams.
They commented that I was very Anglo-Saxon or Northern European in my attitude, because I was worried about how it was going to go. They are so laid back here....although, I'm sure that if they were the one being inspected it would be a different story.
As to whether I will be teaching in September, it depends on funding from the Government, so they'll let me know in September!
I'm off to do some well earned quilting now!!!
Thanks
