OK I have hit the bouncing fever stage of this infection (yay! that means it is almost over!). When I run a fever I tend to start drawing quilts.
After spending a couple of hours trying to work out how to piece trees with wisteria vines climbing them, I settled into playing with something a little less insane making. That being overlaying seven sisters onto jack's chain.
Now surely someone somewhere has done this before. In my head I am calling it Jack's Chained Sisters. It is really sort of an obvious design once you get going drawing it. Big star in the middle, six little ones where the nine patches usually go. Just for fun I am drawing the stars interlaced (in themselves, not together, though that is a thought for another quilt).
The pattern is so obvious that I am wondering what it might be really called. For as I said, surely someone has done this before.
Any clues?
