OT life this week

Been a long week here. DH back in the hospital for heat problems. He is home and feeling pretty good now. I just am not totally sure where we are in all this but hopefully things will be stable for now. Since he got home things have just been wacky. Phones in the whole area out for over a day and odd ball stuff like that just keeps hitting us. Today things seem to be evening out though. I hope life will settle down a bit. I actually took needle and thread to fabric today for a bit of hand work. It is amazing how good that is. There is no place like home, especially after a stint at the hospital! Taria

I was hoping you'd report in and give us good news, Taria. Since your sweetheart is home and feeling pretty good and you've actually been able to stitch at least a little is good news indeed. We continue to hold you close in our hearts and prayers. Bless you, Polly

I agree - there is no place like home, especially after a hospital stay.

Prayers and good thoughts coming your way.

Let's hope the 'at home' lasts a really good while. Hospital trips are scary. Look after yourself, too. . In message , Taria writes

I'm so glad you were able to give us an update on your DH and happy to hear he's home. I'm praying for continued healing.

Good to hear you were able to do a little stitching - doing something that feels normal after days of back-and-forth to the hospital and waiting for answers is so therapeutic.

Glad to hear he appears to be on the mend. I assume you will be assuming the role of "Nurse Nice". They will want him to take it easy and gradually get back into the stream of things, but sometimes it is hard to keep a hard driver quiet. Hopefully that won't be a big problem for you. Bon Chance.
