OT--mail from my sons acct to others on his addy book

the emails are not coming to me...so far. its not on my computer or we'd be having more other probs i'm sure. so far here we're ok. no issues at all. they are going out to all the kids (his very very good friends) on his email addy book on his hotmail acct. i'd love to get into his acct to see if there are any clues at all. j.

Is there anyway to contact Hotmail customer service to see if you can close the account? That might be a place to start -- but I know finding real people to talk to is a monumental task.

i'd like to get access to the acct and do a quick check if there is any mail there that might give me some clues to why he is not here with us now. i'm desperate for some reason. i have thot of contacting hotmail but i'm still exploring various options. i've not seen the email the kids got. once i see that i'll think further what i can do. i checked how hotmail works if you forget your password. unfortunately it is not sent to your home email addy. it allows you to delete the contact email addy and double checks by location first entered and answer to the secret question. i've seen the question but no idea what he might answer to it. tried a few and none worked. i'm not done yet tho. dd says i should not go into his email acct. seems she doesnt need an answer as much as i do. i guess its cuz i'm his mama. i gave birth to him. i just dont understand why and i need to know. j.

I just Googled this and found that your sons acct. is probably infected with the Nesky worm. When your son logs in he has his own acct., correct? His own set of hotmail addresses stored on the computer in his account. Here is a CC&P of links to read about this worm and the removal tool. It should be run on your sons acct.

the acct was not being read back thru out computer email program. it was only read thru the hotmail website. there is no addy book on his profile here. i do have the hotmail ID but i dont have the hotmail password and can not figure out the answer to the secret question to access the account. i've asked all his friends and his brother and sister what the answer might be and tried quite a few possibles but none worked. i've got all the anti virus program and spyware installed here also. i need to find out how else i can get into the acct as i want to quickly scan the emails there to see if i can find any answers to my question. the acct will never be used now to send emails. the acct could be closed but i want in there first if i can get hotmail to understand why i need to get into it and let me in. its complicated i guess but geez louise. j.

we only have this one in the house. only Sam and i have used this computer recently. its got to be someone who has somehow gotten into Tims hotmail acct but not from this computer. does sound like a trojan virus to me but its not on this computer. seems to me it might be on the computer of someone on his addy list that has somehow backed up thru their addy book into Tims acct. i'm not sure what i meant by that but we've got lots of anti virus working here and is updated daily by me manually. its not just updating on auto pilot. i have noooooo idea what, how or who but i am not amused. j.

how do i convice hotmail that he wont ever be using it again? but if i can, before that i'd want access to see if any of the last emails sent/received would give me a clue as to why he did it. i'm so in the dark and it is eating me apart inside. i think mama's take this much harder than anyone else somehow. maybe i'm wrong, i dont know anything much anymore. j.

As for the question about why it's bothering you, I say Jeanne, it doesn't have to make sense. The fact that it does is the only thing that is pertinent. What bothers you may not bother another family member, and yet they may be bothered by something else that crops up.
