I saw it Thursday evening- what a delightful, fun, and uplifting movie. I LOVED it!

I saw it too, and it was great! I'm not sure Pierce Brosnan is going to make it as a singer though.

Yeah, on the way to the car, I told my friends he better not give up his day job. But didn't Mr Darcy have a lovely voice?

Oh me too, I've not had so much fun at a movie since - I don't know when! Maybe never!!

Yes, that is one mistake they did make. Letting him sing. LOL

Two gal pals and I went - we're still dancing. Fabulous movie. Pierce Brosnan deserves credit for trying to sing - course looking the way he does, who cares if he can sing? :-))

And at least they didn't dub his voice - as at one time they would have done! . In message , Sharon writes

DSonIL (the Pilot - he flies for an Executive Jet company, ferrying the rich and famous around)) flew Pierce and Colin Firth and other cast/production members round Europe for the pre-release shindigs. They went to Greece, and then to Moscow and to the Premiere in Stockholm.

He said they were very friendly and offered him a ticket for the Premiere, but he 'hadn't got anything to wear', as he hadn't gone prepared!

He is a little under-informed when it comes to his passengers - DD has to explain who they are! He thought he knew who Duran Duran were, but he'd got the wrong group!

I think that would be a fun job!

Yes, he loves it - goes to more interesting destinations, gets priority at the airports with more efficient backup (takes 1/4 of the time to sign in and get flight plan), and hopefully more job security - holiday airlines go under as people cut back, but the rich and famous don't seem to feel the pinch! Less pay but happier pilot! He was flying 767s before.
