little about Healesville H is best known for it's large wild life sanctuary. Beautiful area, a bit cold in winter (but not heavy snow country, just occasional small dumps and lots of frost) and certainly cooler than the city in summer. Close enough to enjoy the attractions of Melbourne (only about 60km out from (officially) one of the World's Most Livable Cities), has lots going for it including artist colonies, "alternative lifestylers", magnificent scenery and clean air.

I love my home, but I would happily live there 'cos it's closer to Melbourne.
