The lights have been up at Mom's for some time now...at least a few weeks. Mom decided we needed to do that while the weather was warm, for which I'm grateful, although I usually get hot while doing the lights and take my coat off but with the current cold snap and me sweating, I'd have gotten sick. I asked about if she'd thought about putting up the tree, and she wanted to know if I was getting anxious. Nope, just need to know so I don't schedule anything for that day. She says sometime after the 7th and I was betting that she'd decide on the

9th since I have to go to Kansas City that day (only day I can't reschedule...have I told y'all this before?), but she's been told about that now.

Our tree went up this morning....

But, why is it failing? I didn't laugh either. Seemed perfectly normal to me. Doesn't everybody make race car noises when they drive? Especially when driving those racecar shopping carts at the grocery store.
