Edvard Munch - painter Bob Barker - Price is Right Jennifer Connelly - actress Gustave Flaubert - novelist Connie Francis - singer John Jay - first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Ed Koch - former NY City mayor Cathy Rigby - gymnast Frank Sinatra - singer Dionne Warwick - singer

Gee, I feel so insignificant compared to these people...I knew about John Jay and Frank Sinatra....does this mean I need to do more with my life???

and my Boyfriend! It is his 35th today!

Funny thing, I was born on 10/10, he was born on 12/12 and our little bun in the oven is due on 07/07, we will have to wait and see. Our daughter messed it up already she was born on 01/06 but she is so cute that we forgive her ;)

Why should you feel insignificant? I'm sure you are just as famous (note I didn't say infamous!) in your own way.

YAY!!!! More people to add to my birthday list!! A dear friend from church was also born on 12/12...a year earlier than me...lol. Called her yesterday thinking I wouldn't see her today, but we saw each other at church and wished each other a Happy Birthday....the other women around all sang to us.

I had a rather peaceful day, which was what I really wanted. DIdn't bother finishing the laundry. Had to run to the grocery store to get sugar, milk, mini-candy canes for DS to take to school, then came back home and made egg-free cookies (peanut butter blossoms and chocolate chip cookie bars). Introduced DD into the wonderful art of flour painting (great to teach early writing skills - flour poured into a cookie sheet with sides...let them play, and trace the letters with their fingers...then let them go for it........I had flour EVERYWHERE, but we had fun).

played on the piano, took a nap

that was my day - only person to wish me a Happy Birthday outside of this group was my father who called me this morning. Even DH didn't mention it until dinner time, and that was to explain to DS that you don't ask a woman about her age...lol

well pbbbt!! lol!

I did awesome finger painting in kindergarten, so that is taken care of....sing in the church choir and wherever else I feel like it, so that is taken care of.....write extensive emial ramblings, which I suppose could be turned into novels, so that part is taken care of.....used to study ballet and gymnastics, so THAT is also taken care of...will NEVER go into politics or study law - thought about it one time, but realized that I would be too emotionally involved to have a relationship with anything other than my work..I won't give up my DH and children for a career...and as far as acting is concerned, I think we ALL act a little bit. So....that leaves game shows......does making it to Jeopardy tryouts count under that....I think it does.....there, I've neatly covered all of them...lol.

Who knows, maybe in eons to come, some of my quilts will end up in museums or something
