When I make chocolate brownies I bake them until the toothpick I stick in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs stuck to it. If there are no crumbs or dry crumbs the brownies are too dry. Might experiment w/ the lemon brownie recipe.

I keep threatening to put flame decals on mine, like Alton Brown has on his. Of course, I've also threatened to put flame decals on my sewing machine, too. *grin*
