Hi Guys, Well, I *think* I have found a new cat baby -- a rescue, of course. I finally found the local Animal Shelter and spent about 30 minutes with the kitties they have for adoption. There was only 1 female who was older -- a 3 y.o. gray & white DMH. She wanted to scratch & bite me but that could have been a result of being in a cage for months. Besides, I really am partial to the calico at Pet Smart. It's beginning to look like this calico might be the new baby for us. Her name is Bunnie and she was rescued from an apartment complex where she had been abandoned. Turned out she was preggers and she had a litter of 6 babies a few weeks after being taken in -- last year about May. She has been fostered so that's a plus. Seems she's a "talker" and will "trill" when you talk to her a lot -- LOLOL! DH has seen her only once and we haven't had an opportunity to get "hands on" with her yet. He has to go to Sweden this weekend but will have Friday off so maybe we can make arrangements to have someone meet us one of these evenings so that we can get "up close and personal" with her. *IF* we take her home, I will be sure to post and let you all know.
