Thanks to all who prayed for my parents. Mom made it through surgery and is recovering nicely. (I knew she was feeling better when she picked up her quilting.) Dad had his surgery on Friday and ismaking slow but steady progress. It was good to get out to El Paso to see them. I was reminded, though, just how much I hate 50 mph winds and blowing sand. Ugh!
