I want to thank everyone for the kind words regarding my pics of sewing room and QI's. . It is very sunny, as the windows in front of the sewing machine face East, and the ones in front of the quilting rack face South. This room is actually off of the end of the kitchen. When I stand at my cutting table I face the eating area of the kitchen. We needed to enlarge the kitchen, so I added an extra area just for me, with lots of windows on all 3 sides.
My cutting table is actually a kitchen island, that we bought from a store going out of business. I thought it was a great height for cutting, plus I can bring over a bar stool to sit if so desired. It holds my fabric stash underneath. (You can tell I haven't been quilting very long!). I also iron my pieces on it.
The QI's love to pose, as you can see. Kibbles and Bits are quite calm, but Daisy is the Osama Bin Ladin of the cat world (and ours). I found her batting my large tomato pin cushion around under the TV stand this morning. Sigh... She does keep us all on our toes.
