A big thank you to all who offered prayers in behalf of my friend Wendi, who had cancer surgery last week. For several days I heard nothing at all, but tonight I finally got an email from her. She says she thinks she's going to live now, but yesterday she wasn't so sure of that. She's really had a rotten time of it, and the battle isn't over yet. Continued prayers are still appreciated.
I'm working on making a comfort quilt for her, but it's coming along slowly, even though I'm using a pattern that goes together quickly. I'd wanted to get it finished before her surgery, but that didn't happen. I'm sure she'll appreciate it whenever it arrives.
