Prayers, please

Everybody,

I've been gone a long time, and don't even have time to read any other posts to see if there's anybody left who'd remember me .... My beloved husband is now under hospice care, so there's not much time for anything but him.

I'm not asking for prayers for us, though. I'm asking for all the prayers and good wishes you possibly have for MeSue/Sue in Burbank/Mother of the Queen of the Universe (however you knew her). She got news today that chemo has failed and her cancer has spread. The doctors are letting her choose between one more very toxic form of chemo, or just letting go of treatment and enjoying the remainder of her life.

I don't think she's reading email anymore, and I also think she's not reading the newsgroup ... so just send her a heartfelt prayer or ten, OK?

Prayers on the way. May whatever decision she makes be the one that gives her the least pain in every respect.

When I joined the group she was one of it's leading lights, and it is a little less bright without her.

In no way will I leave you and your DH out of my assault on heaven, but I will redouble prayers for Sue after this devastating news. thanks for the update - I've been gone so long I didn't know MeSue was sick. This is quite a shock to me. What kind of cancer? Please give her my love and let her know we all miss her. I also hate to ask about her daughter, but I've been gone so long I've missed many posts and updates. Prayers go out to them and also to you and your husband.
