OT...Prayers for Jacqui Long

This has been one bad week for Jacqui. Her DH left last week for Kuwait, she is still recovering from the surgery she had a couple of weeks before he left, and on Wednesday she went for a consultation on her thyroid. They ended up doing a biospy right then and there. The results came back yesterday. She has cancer. We will find out when surgery will be next week. She will have to have her thtroid removed.She is being very brave about the whole thing, it took some heavy talking before she was convinced to even tell her DH. She wanted you guys to know but wasn't up to relaying the message herself. I have to add, I am very proud of my daughter. I will be flying out there as soon as we know all the details. Please keep her in your prayers, and pray that all goes well. Thank you.....Jacqui's Mom

Give Jacqui my best wishes for all to go well. Also, assure her that I'll be praying for her and the entire family. We'll be here whenever she feels up to it! For right now, all she needs to worry about is getting better.

My DH and I wish Jacqui a quick recovery and we send our best wishes. She has a wonderful support system. I hope her DH can come home for a "medical crisis" at home.

Thyroid cancer is VERY treatable. Tell her if she needs someone who has been in her shoes to talk to, I"m here. She is in my prayers.

Thank you Mrs Besterman for letting us know. My husband and I will send healing prayers her way and hope that she is all better and here with us again soon. We will miss her, but know that things will work out. Please give her a big hug for me when you see her and if you can, let us all know how she is doing.
