Well as some of ya may have noticed, I was missing last week. Just glancing at the group, ya'll have been busy, lots of new people here and just wow, lots going on! It will take me all night to just read and catch up on I guess! I have several posts to make to let ya know what I was doing or did!!!
Most of all it was rather bad for me in that my bestest sister up in Misery had a light heart attack, then had to undergo emergency quadruple bypass surgery. She is doing well, as she is a strong, very busy, active person, from GERMAN ancestry (STUBBORN!) and in great shape. She is 66. The bad part of the surgery was, she has such bad vericose veins in her legs they had to strip the veins out of her left arm. I had never seen that done before. As she said, she is cut from the wrist to above the elbow, not to mention her chest. She is very sore.
What is so bad an causing her stress she does not need, this same week she found out where she lives might/is going to be sold. The property has been tied up in a family dispute of dividing it up after a death, well there is so much hate and discontent, it is being put up for court ordered auction and the money split that way. She might have to move after 25 years. She has worked on Fort Leonard Wood for 2 years and because of her surgery now and t time the dr's are telling her she will be off (3 months) she may be forced to retire.
She loves her job and people go OUT of THEIR way to get her to assist them and is well liked by all her superiors, plus has never received a write up. We tell her those are plusses for her, but as we know the gov't is cuttin whenever they can, well prayers work! She wants to work until she is 70. So I guess i will ask for your prayers for her too!
