Honey for sugar also throws in the "liquid" problem. I once substituted honey for sugar in my oatmeal raisen cookies (biscuts) and got a fantastic batch of cookies (happy accident). But, darn, I could never duplicate it.

Yep they are the ones I posted - and my measurements were exactly the same!
Chocolate as in choclate. Because you are melting it probably powder wouldn't work so good. Chips, "melts" or just plain old fashioned block works well. I used milk. Feel free to use dark or white. Nope, just good old Large eggs.

When I visited the US I bought a couple of cookery books and a set of cup measures so that I could make the recipes without having a nervous breakdown!
Apart from that I weigh everything and still prefer 1bs and oz, but will use the metrics if I really have to.
I think its only the US who use cups.
