I just wanted to say thanks for all the kind words of inspiration from you folks. My BIL made it through his brain surgery and we got to visit for a bit. He has a lot of recovery ahead of him but things look fairly good. Any prayers you could send his way he could really use. His wife too. What a toll a sick loved one can take on a spouse. The hospital was very near Rosie's in San Diego so I did stop in. The place sure has got more fabric all the time. It really is amazing. I am hoping to get to the Road 2 Ca. quilt show Sunday. I'm looking forward to a fun day with one of my sisters. I want to check out the machine Leslie is lusting after. Georgia pup is healed and her biopsy came back clear. The cat is looking and feeling better and the air is warming up. Any positive energy for ds who is now one of San Deigo's finest would be appreciated also. I don't even know how to worry about my baby being on the pd. Hugs, Taria

Thank G-d that your BIL made it thru the surgery is still fighting. I will say prayers for him. I want a report on that machine since I haven't gone to look at it yet- I'm afraid my credit card would leap out of my wallet on it's own. LOL Glad Georgia had a clean biopsy. YAY!!! And I will say some prayers for your son's safety. I was a reserve police officer back in the late 70s. It was serious work back then, of course, but things have changed and not for the better. Bless him for choosing such an honorable profession.

Glad to hear that everything is coming along Taria. And congrats to DS - besides the worry that goes along with the job, I bet you're one, proud mama! Blessings to your family and all your QI's.

And I want believe that those who serve (PD, FD, DF, whatever) have special guardian angels to watch over them. I am sure your DS has one too.

Good to see you back!!!! Still sending hugs and prayers! And ok... I'm pouting that you get to go to the really big show while I snow watch. ;-) Have fun!! I've heard who some of the winners are already! You are in for a good time! Be sure to tell DS you will need a police escort thru the show to help carry and guard the loot. ;-)
