Just wanted to share

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share some exciting news. Last week I attended a picnic for the Greyhound rescue that receives my doggie blankies. There I met a women who had just retired. She's a quilter but was looking for something else to do that didn't need much thought, so she asked if she could help me some how. Well, I couldn't pass up an offer like that, so on Saturday I delivered a copier box full of 6" squares for her to assemble into tops for the animal blankets. Lots of different colors and patterns, so she should be able to have some fun too. She's thrilled to be helping and I'm very excited to have the help. Now I just need to find someone who likes to string quilting to use up all of my scraps. I really enjoy making scrap squares, it just seems like I never get the extra time. Thanks for listening!!!

I'm so glad you have found a fellow 'pioneer'. It must have been a bit lonely all on your own. Now you can compare notes and chat dogs *and* quilts. Good for you (and her!) . In message , Jill
