OT Very sad QI news

((((((((((((((((Jo))))))))))))))))))))

I'm so sorry for your loss. Most of us here have been through the loss of one of our QIs and whilst it is never, ever easy we can only hope that we made their days as happy as they made ours. Rainbow Bridge is a wonderful, wonderful poem (and place) and I have shown my girls the website and it has helped them some with the loss of both Jimmy and Merlot.

Take some heart in knowing that Syd is there, carefree and playful, mucking around with Jimmy and Merlot and Sasha and all our other QIs. Gosh what a place it'll be when we get there!

So sorry for your loss. Our QI's give so much and ask so little in return. May you be comforted in the knowledge you will be together again someday. Elaine in GA

So sorry, Jo. I know how hard it is. It seems to hit me harder now that I'm older and understand their worth.

I hope that when you're ready, you again know the joy of another companion.

(((Hugs)))

I remember wondering how it was possible that the sun came up and people could just be going about their business after our first furchild died at a ripe old age. I went to sleep and woke up with tears for a month. Losing a companion is losing a companion, regardless of the number of legs.
