Down to -7 Celsius last night, so ski trip for DD#2 at school has been postponed for 1 day - the irony, can't go skiing because of ice and snow on the roads !! The long face of her and her friends was awful this morning at school. They are all aged 10 - 11 yrs, so the 1st time away from home on their own and they are soooo excited.
We walked to school, the roads were clear here, but in town it was deadly, black ice and compacted snow, but the sun is out now and it is meant to be up to 5 Celsius later and rising to 9 Celsius by Friday, so lets keep fingers crossed that winter is coming to an end and the Siberian weather is returning to Siberia!
