Overdue Happy Dance

Finished a 20 year old UFO! It is about 2/3 hand quilted, but I finished by machine quilting. Just needs binding.

This was from the days before I had a rotary cutter or knew the importance of the 1/4" seam. I believe most of the strips were torn instead of cut.

It is very pretty! I cannot quite imagine doing that without a rotary cutter, yet this is how it was all done in the past...

OMG, that is absolutely lovely! I can't imagine doing it without a rotary cutter. It would be quite an achievement even with one. Nor can I imagine what it must feel like to finish a 20-year-old UFO. Well done!

That's absolutely beautiful! I don't think I could let something that gorgeous sit around for 20 yrs! What a great use of log cabin blocks - took me a bit to realize that pretty center design was ALSO made of log cabins! ME-Judy

Good for you Linda! It reminds me of the Log Cabin Style that Crystal ________ made popular back in the day. PAT, dancing in Virginia
