Happy Dance!

Woo Hoo! The Relay for Life 2010 Quilt is FINISHED! It is very lovely. This quilt was made for a drawing which is a main fundraiser for my parish RFL team. We haven't even taken a picture yet. Hope to do that the next few days and will find a way to post it. This quilt is a variation of Warm Wishes. It is queen size; main colors are purple, coral and green, taken from a gorgeous Hoffman print called Taj Mahal. It was professionally long arm quilted. The parish Stitchers group, to which I belong, did the piecing. All work, including the quilting was donated. Another parish club kindly donated funds for the materials. I coordinated the project (lots of cutting and some stitching, plus binding ... grateful to have another stitcher volunteer to do the final hand stitching for binding!) and am very, very happy with how it turned out and to have it OFF MY TO DO LIST!
