Guild Raffle Quilt... almost done

I coordinated the design and construction of our guild raffle quilt. The quilt is donated to the local Domestic Abuse Shelter and they will feature it in their summer garden tour gala and fundraiser.

I wanted something in the "garden/flower" theme.... and this filled the bill. It is king-sized and still needs the binding and label. The binding will be the dark green.

I hope they sell lots and lots of tickets!

You can see it in my webshots gallery in the Charity Quilts album. Various members did the flowers. I did the Peace Rose in the center.

That's gorgeous, Kate! Your peace rose is just lovely, as is the quilting. Did you quilt it yourself? Great job. :)

No -- someone from the guild had it quilted by a longarmer who does stunning work! No way would I attempt a king-sized quilt like that on my little machine!
