Raffle Quilt Label

I have been assigned the task of preparing the label for the quilt our guild will be donating to the local domestic abuse shelter.

The guilt is a Garden Twist pattern -- and will be raffled at their summer garden tour event.

I've never done a lable for something like this.

Can you give me some ideas on what to include or any cute phrasing?

Thanks in advance!

The people who often buy the most tickets are those who helped make the quilt. The info they most need on a label, IMO, is the name of the organization, the date and location of the event, the name of the charity, and the name of the quilt. Plus maybe the names of the designer, the quilter, and the assembler if appropriate. If no more than 10 or so people actually worked on it, it would be nice to put on all their names. This will fill up a label pretty fast, so I don't think you need much more. Washing instructions would be a practical addition and more useful than cute quotes. Roberta in D

lots of ideas here:

This does suggest including block size and whether done by hand or machine; I don't find that information particularly useful on a label because it can be determined by looking at the quilt.
