I need help writing a label for a HUG quilt going to a friend with Parkinson's. I started to write one by saying "when life gets you down" but I really want something more positive. I'll try to insert a link to a photo of the quilt. It was made with her in mind and the colors of her home....terra cotta. Earthy and warm.

I hope the links work. Anyway, I would welcome suggestions for appropriate wording........
-- for my dear friend's late husband while he was undergoing chemotherapy a few years ago had this quote on it: ?While we cannot control the wind, we can always control our sails.? He said it was comforting. Your quilting looks sort of like wind, at least in that closeup :-) You could find a quote about stars that is inspiring and/or comforting too. Love the quilt!

Thanks to you all! I have to say I am really pleased with the quilt. I would like to make another one.....it was an easy pattern. I'm taking it with me on vacation to show the ladies in the shop where I bought the fabric. Then, my dh ( the recipient is an employee of his) and I will present it to her. I hope it provides many hours of comfort for her........
Don't know if this will help or not, but here's a link to the hug quilt label I did recently for a friend who's husband left for his second tour in Iraq. I was also clueless what to put on the label. When I sat down to actually do it, the words just flowed.
