Jeanne's Hug - Pictures (and some "Polly Pictures")

If you click on the following, I think (hope) it will take you to the pictures of Jeanne's Hug. I tried to get each individual block included - I apologize if I missed any (and I'll apologize for my photography skills!).

Then, if you click on this one, it'll take you to some of Polly's work. The string quilt is one of her recent projects and is so bright and wonderful. The other two - Purple Passion and One-eared Mice are both scrap quilts, and let me tell you, she has a way of making them glow!

Thanks, Louise, for putting up all the pixs for us to admire. It's appreciated. Polly, wonderful work...someday I may grow up to be of your caliber. J* know you are Hugged by more folk than you know. Just wrap it round you---sleep under it--throw the other 'blankies' off if you get too warm. Hope this Hug brings you as much comfort as mine has for me.

Thank you Louise. Jeannes hug is lovely. I'm sure she will feel our love when she wraps it around her. I love Polly's happy quilts too. Was looking for the one eared mice and then the penny dropped! Wonderful!

Thanks so much for posting the pics of Jeanne's hug, Louise. The arrangement and quilting are gorgeous--and it just goes to show, Jeanne was right about green all of this time. ;-)

Thanks to Karen, Louise, and Polly for their hard work!

Oh my, scrappy quilts. My FAVORITE! What fun quilts, Polly. The little one eared mice are adorable!

Oh good. There you are, Roberta. I was hoping that eventually you would get to see the scrapping; especially the string crib quilt. That one was such fun to make. It is only 4½ x 10" lengths of muslin (or anything) with a few pounds of leftover cuts stitched on. Mindless and fast - sometimes that's just what we need. Polly

"Roberta" Thanks Louise, that was a real treat! And thanks Polly!

Thank you kindly, Sally. Now that I can take pictures, I need to make one of Noel's backing so you can really see Louise's quilting. She can turn 'good' into 'Smashing'. Polly
