Hug quilt heading to its new home

The hug that Butterfly was working on, for her niece, was shipped today, and should be arriving at its new home in a few days. I had the honour of quilting the wonderful quilt! I have added some pictures, one of the quilt, and a few close-ups to my webshots albums (the link below should take you there).

It is sooooo beautiful! I am sure it will be much loved. I know I have been out of things for some time but would love to send blocks for the hug quilts for future use. I know I look at the hug quilt I received from RCTQ every day. It continues to give me more warmth and love than can be imagined. I have to tell you all that that quilt was on many days the only thing holding me together during my long recovery after a series of strokes and TIA's. It continues to have a special place in my living room and I am always sharing with visitors to my home the story of the quilt. I know this hug quilt is going to give to Butterfly's niece a hope that only such a quilt can give. I know things change hands here from time to time and I sure would love to participate in the hug quilts if I can. julia

Hi Julia,

Kathryn Groves is in charge of the hug list. If you contact her, I'm sure she'd be happy to add you.
