quilt poem for label

I could have sworn I had a file of poems, or even a website saved....but I can only find a my file with the "It's Okay" poem. Does anyone have (or remember) a label poem that says at the end....."and when your quilt is worn out I'll make you another one". That's the gist of it anyway. Thanks for any help in jogging my lazy memory.

This quilt is made of cloth and thread to place upon your little bed. It's not an heirloom - just to keep, but to lie upon as you count sheep. Or perhaps the floor's the perfect place for a doll and teddy picnic spade. This quilt can be anything you dream - from Superman's cape to the rove of a queen. Pretend its a raft adrift at sea, or just cuddle up when you watch TV. So use it up and wear it out - I promise I won't yell or pout, Just tell me when its days are through, and I'll make another, just for you.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure that's the same website I've saved.....somewhere. I need to figure out a system of remembering my "favorites".

No problem. It looks like there are some obvious typos there though. Sorry about that, I guess I should have proof read it rather than just relying on spell check to catch the errors. That doesn't work when the typos are words too!!

Not a problem. I've gotten sloppy about re-reading my posts before hitting the send button. Notice I wrote.."that" instead of "that's". I also noticed one in an email I sent out this morning. Note to self: read all messages before sending!!! I DO know better!

How does one get such a long poem on a quilt label?

I print it on fabric with my printer. It comes out about the size of a post card.
