I have just finished a small wallhanging, my first attempt at meandering by hand, and the first time I've made my own binding. It is the butterfly quilt on

I've also just made a holder for DH ipod for his birthday. I found some music fabric in black and white and made it to fit onto his belt. I haven't got any photos of that one yet.

oooh! Pretty!

Do get pix of that ipod holder! :)

Love the butterflies - blue and yellow are a fave combo for me.

When do we see the Ipod case?

Very nice! It will look lovely hanging on your wall.....or mine, for that matter! LOL!

Really nice, Sarah! My favorite colors, too. I suppose it isn't my Christmas present? No, didn't really think so.

Yes, they come up onto our patio and will take food off the step to the patio windows. The mother doesn't seem to have had any babies this year which is sad. We've been very lucky to have had them.

I made the pattern up myself, I'm going to make another one for my brother for Xmas, I think I'll take photos as I make that one and put them on my web page. That will have to wait awhile as I have birthday presents to make first! Sarah

Great idea, Sarah. It is a very pretty wallhanging - and could be done in all sorts of butterfly colours - like the stunning black and red ones. Do tell us when you have it up and ready. You might even try Popular Patchwork or Patchwork And Quilting with it. . In message , Sarah Dixon writes

sorry I misunderstood, the ipod holder I made up but the butterfly quilt came out of a book by Rosemary Wilkinson, although I changed it slightly.
