Bronnie, I got to see it! The pictures are wonderful but it's even more breathtaking up close and personal! I spent a large part of two days stalking Mariya and 'just missed her' each time. I wanted a picture of her and the quilt to send to Greta and her neighbor who is an avid quilter. I'm so glad it's on line tho. So much talent from so many places. . .

Yes, Bronnie, Mariya was at the Show. She was friendly, gracious and a bit dazed, which is understandable considering that she only made the plan to attend after she'd been notified of the award. She flew a great distance and was 'almost' bumped from the last leg of the flight. A kind pilot who was being repositioned gave up his seat for her, and she was in Kentucky in time for the Awards Ceremony. I took a photo of her with her quilt, and she kindly autographed my show program! PAT, still recovering from Paducah '09, back in Virginia
