Paper Piecing and Seams question

Carol, I think get what you mean. Add at the corner where they all meet, then trim all those seams that come right to the corner? But what colour? There are 6 purples going from light to dark plus the black.

Hi again Ann: Yes, you have the idea. Rather than create a symetrical triangle, I would draw a line that would produce an asymetrical triangle. If you measure 1/2" from one side of the corner and 1" from the other, your triangle will be asymetrical and will be in line with the design of the fan pieces. It will also produce a center with no matching seams...Yeah!!! I would choose a color different from the purples you already are using, perhaps a warmer shade of purple.....oh, the designer in me loves to consider the possibilities. All the best, Carol

Isn't that the truth!?! My guy is definitely *not* housetrained, though he does do a lot of the cooking these days (I used to do it all, but things changed gradually ).

Let's see -- we're about to hit our 34th anniversary, so at this rate, I'll have to live to 150 to have him be a completely-trained househusband. LOL!
