LOL tell me about it!! We dis the "measure against the wall" routine last night. Thomas grew about 2 inches in the last 10 months and Rebekah actually grew about 4!!! Which would explain the sudden need for all new clothes for both of them, I guess . Standing, Thomas is just under boo-height to me....if he keeps gaining 2 inches every year, he's going to be a giant like his grandpa (6'2") by the time he finishes school!! Rebekah is making progress nicely - at almost 3 years, she is into 2T clothing (with the waist taken in because she's skinny like her big brother). I don't doubt that, the way she is going, she will be in 3s by CHristmas!!

I have the feeling that I will have to look up to both of them before they graduate high school...lol....just like Mother did and Nanny had to do!

LOL not so quiet - Rebekah only goes to school MOnday mornings, and so far, I have dentist and doctor appointments scheduled for the times when she is in school!! But, I am able to get some sewing done and the housework up to speed during her quiet time and playtime...nothing like a 2yo that wants to help, though!!

Still plugging away at getting things lined up for business...IRS papers are driving me crazy (and I'm just researching them right now!!!) Then the state is going to kill me..have to register and pay sales tax crap....grrrr...but other than that, it's not too bad.

Once a month or so, while Rebekah is in school, I will be volunteering at Thomas' school to help his teacher with copying or whatever needs to get done.

I looked at the pics of your kids! Adorable! I can't believe your daughter is that big already. I was with the group when she was born. She still hasn't grown into her eyes though...... :-)

Now off to look at the BOM folder......

Isn't the first day of school fun? I don't think I ever cried......more like a big WAHOO!!!!!

I think she'll grow into her eyes, it's the ears that have DH worried...which is why she seldom has her hair pulled back (i think she looks adorable with it up, but....). Hard to believe, but the litt 5lbs

Larisa, who can still remember calling Karen to giver her the specifics about Rebekah's birth, then demanding that the nurse help me walk around the maternity ward....roughly 4 hours after having the c-seciton! lol

We did the calculation for James when he was 18 months (measure 18 month old baby: double and add 2"). James was predicted to be 6'4". As he is now not yet 12 and my height 5'3", he has only 12" to go and plenty of time, so he should make it. I just hope he doesn't end up with size 14 feet!

OH well a doc's appointment without curious kids is a blessing too! ah yes helpful kids... I have been telling my youngest DS to clean the doors of the kitchen cabinets with a damp cloth - keeps him busy and out of my way ;-) and the cupboards are cleaner hehehe

akk the IRS of any country is a pain - though some are more helpful than others I hope it all biomes clear soon!

that's a great way to help out! I "just" do the PTA for the preschool and leave the "PTA" of Michael's school to parents that want to do stuff to help (PTA preschool is meetings and decision making and occasionally with the bigger events helping out - at the school it's just parents helping out no meetings or anything like the preschool)

Blocks are great and the kids looks so cute in their back to school clothes! Almost makes me miss when my boys (ages 38 and 35) were little and heading off on that first day of school--notice I said "almost"! LOL

Kids do grow up very fast......my first born is going to be 28 on the 8th and my baby is going to be 21 on the 22nd. I can remember everything about their births and babyhood......time indeed does fly......hang on to them and keep them little for as long as you can.

LOL..did that for Thomas at age 2...came up with 6'1" or thereabouts....close to his grandpa in height. DIdn't do that with rebekah, but she'll probably stay a tiny thing like my grandmother...Nanny was, at her tallest, 5'4"..will make family pictures interesting
