2007-2008 RCTQ BOM

Gotcha with that one didn't I? Well, here's what I have to say...

I am proud to welcome our new BOM hostess to the scene. Her capable hands, loving heart and artistic eye should make the coming year a treat for us all! So everyone put your hands together in appreciation for....

JESSAMY!!!!!

Thank you again for such a wonderful year, thanks to Terbear for maintaining the gallery, and many thanks to Jessamy for continuing this great tradition!

I'm glad this will continue - not that I have actually done any of them, lol. I always have good intentions, but get caught up in other things.

omg, hows Jess gonna have time for that too? she designs, writes the patterns and makes the quilts for magazines with deadlines, is busy writing her own book about some aspect of quilting, raising two small boys on her own, cooks, cleans, runs more than a couple yahoo groups, designs and writes the free online mystery patterns. i'm sure theres more i forgot. good grief, shes lost her mind i think. then again, if ya want something done, ask a busy person. somehow they make room for extra stuff. if my brain was working correctly i'd of offered but i know its not so i didnt. lost in space permanently, jeanne

Thank you Danielle for a great job last year - especially being preggers. I look forward to a brand new year with Jessamy. Thank you for offering Jessamy.

Thanks Dannielle! and also thanks for a wonderful BOM last year!

Sherry - I got bogged down for the first 1 3/4 year of the BOM! finally I found a week free and did them all in one fell swoop - they are now awaiting setting when I next have some free time

thanks Sharon and Roberta :-)

Jeanne: errr... time? I just spend less time doing something else - like not being in the pre-school PTA anymore as Alexander will be going to primary school after the summer break as he will turn 4 next month :-) mind you I thought everyone knew I had lost my mind LOL - I mean how many people do you know who decide to make a quilt with almost 4000 *different* fabrics??

I'm working on the BOM as we speak... yesterday was my oldest son's 6th birthday and I spent all day running! tomorrow we are going to a theme park for the day so I either *have* to have it up today or you will all have to wait till Sunday

I'll be using an appliqué BOM I designed a year or two ago and didn't use for reasons I can't remember (must have been lack of time LOL) and I'll scour the internet and quilters cache for the other two kinds of BOM blocks as I noticed that many people *liked* having a choice between normal piecing and paper piecing ;-)

For the appliqué I'll be setting up a website so it can be downloaded - I'm going to try using the web space I'm entitled to with my ISP so hopefully it will work and not get bogged down in the first 10 minutes :-)
