I have added a picture of my fabric postcards to my webshots "quilts 2009" album. I also added two pictures of a table runner I finished recently. The pattern was from a free download from Quiltmaker magazine. I really liked the grey/black/beige/taupe colour scheme I used in the reversible runner for my nephew and his wife, so decided to make this one for me. It is paper pieced, and based on an off centre pineapple block.

I like the colors in your postcards, Susan. And I really like the table runner, especially the binding stripe fabric. I love stripes for the binding, I don't know why I don't think to use them more often.

Thanks. DH thought the fabric looked like a tie he once owned! I love using stripes for binding, and this fabric was printed on the diagonal, so it gave a "bias" look without all the work!

Thanks Sunny. It was my second project in those colours and I think my colour sense keeps improving with each one.

Those postcards are really pretty. I love the effect of the variegated thread for the edges; and I love the block you used for the table runner. I've seen off-centre log cabins, but never a pineapple - it makes a great block. .

If I'd made that table runner, I guess I'd have to find a way to wear it. I would want everyone to see how wonderful it is. Oh my. Polly
