Added Birthday Card to Webshots

May 15, 2005 12 Replies

I posted a picture of a Childs Birthday Card that I recently made for a Paper Crafts swap. I used the wooden embellishments that you can purchase already painted at Michaels ($0.25 a piece). I wasn't to sure how they would look on a card but I like it. I used hot glue to adhere them to the card so they stay. I'm actually pleased with the way it turned out. The inside was left blank for a personal message.

Cute idea, Chrissy. I've been looking at the wooden imbellishments and wondering how they would work. Thanks for the idea. Sandy

Great work Chrissy! All your cards are very nice

That's cute Chrissy! What a great way to use an embellishment. I've seen those wooden guys before and just wasn't sure what I would do with them. But that's a great idea!

I learn something fun and new everyday.

Well done Chrissy.

Hugs, Kate

Thanks everyone! I must say that I'm hooked on those wooden embellishments now. Next time I go to Michaels I'll have to pick up a dozen or more (or should that say a dozen or less LOL).

Great card Chrissy. I like the wooden embellishments. I recently picked up some to try on a LO, then have been nervous to follow through. Now I will.
